I tried to write a post on Tuesday, but after having turned in my latest Presents on Sunday, my brain was still like this:
Then, as I tried to think of what to blog about, my brain went like this:
Yes, I'm going to New York in July for the RWA Conference. But first I have to leave town this weekend. I'll be doing a workshop for my RWA chapter in Vancouver. Immediately after that, I drive straight home because we have company coming this weekend, too.
Did I mention my husband has torn apart our ensuite for a much needed bathroom reno? Move over, company. We are all using the main bathroom.
Last night, I was packing for this weekend, tidying up the house, when my brother-in-law arrived (with wine, bless him) and bummed dinner. I fed him potato pancakes because, as you can see, grocery shopping failed to make the white board.
Which is my long way of saying I'm posting today because I don't think I'll have time on Saturday while I'm giving my workshop then driving for seven hours.
But I'm excited to see my writer friends and to have a day of nerd talk, discussing process and industry and all that fun stuff that my family really isn't interested in.
What are you doing this weekend?
